The High Commissioner attends a meeting on partnership and stratergies over Tanzania’s 2021/2022 Budget
On July 12th , 2021 the High Commissioner Major General Charles Karamba joined other Ambassadors in Tanzania in a meeting with several ministers led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation Amb. Liberata Mulamula in a discussion on partnership and strategy on 2021/2022 budget implementation and right approach to improve relations.
In a meeting Ambassadors to Tanzania and numerous international organizations voiced their satisfactions over transparency embraced by the sixth phase government.
The envoys pledged to assist Tanzanian government through moral and financial support to facilitate it on its implementation of development projects and also contribute to the 2021/22 national budget.
The group stated that they would contribute Sh2.9trilion equivalent to 4 per cent of the total national budget of Sh36.2trillion.
The meeting comprised of the Tanzanian ministers and Ambassadors representing their countries in Tanzania as well as heads of international organization in Dar es Salaam.
The ministers who participated on the meeting were, The Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation Ambassador Liberata Mulamula, The Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba, Minister of Health Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children Dr. Dorothy Gwajima, Minister of Investment Prof. Kitila Mkumbo, Minister of Industry and Trade Geofrey Mwambe and Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism Damas Ndumbaro.
