Tanzania's President Samia Suluhu Hassan arrives in Rwanda for a two-day state visit
Tanzania’s President H.E Samia Suluhu Hassan on Monday morning, August 2, 2021 arrived in Rwanda, to start a two-day State visit.
She was received at Kigali International Airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Dr. Vincent Biruta.
During her first day, President Samia Suluhu Hassan was received by her host, President Paul Kagame at Urugwiro Village, for a tête-à-tête followed by bilateral talks.
Moreover, President Samia Suluhu Hassan and President Paul Kagame witnessed the signing of several bilateral agreements and also spoke to the Press.
On the second day, the two Heads of State are expected to visit several companies in various sectors including the Special Economic Zone which is home to 120 companies with activities ranging from manufacturing, agro-processing and education among others.
The overall purpose of the visit is to strengthen ties between the two neighbouring countries.
