Rwanda High Commissioner visits Tanga Port
On September 1, 2021 the High Commissioner Maj. Gen. Charles Karamba visited the Tanga Port, also met the Tanga Regional Commissioner Adam Malima and his team.
They also held talks on improving business flow on Rwanda's cargo imported through Tanga Port.
He also visited the Uganda, Tanzania Pipeline Project at Chongoleani and GBP fuel storage facility.
The High Commissioner Maj. Gen. Charles Karamba said the visit stems from trade agreement between Tanzania and Rwanda recently struck by President Samia Suluhu Hassan and her Rwandan counterpart President Paul Kagame.
“In the circumstances I have come here to inspect the progress of the improvement of the infrastructures at the Port of Tanga in the context of the entire port expansion project,” he added.
